Complete your host details

Which legal host details guests see, why they are needed and what happens when they are missing.

Guests make the accommodation contract with you, and you are the controller of their personal data. Thus LocalBook shows your legal details on each of your properties. You enter them once — they are shared by all your properties.

Procedure

In the menu, click Host details.
Select how you rent: A private person or A trader. If you are not sure, ask an accountant or a lawyer.
Enter your full name or business name, your address and an e-mail for guests. A phone number is optional.
If you are a trader, enter your tax number (NIP, or the business number of another country).
Click Save host details.

The registration question

For each property, in the Host and registration section, answer if the property is subject to short-term rental registration: Yes, it applies or It does not apply. With “Yes” the registration number is required to publish — enter it exactly as you received it. Guests see it on the property page, in the widgets on your website and in the confirmation e-mail. Under the law passed by the Sejm the number must also be in the property’s house rules (regulamin porządkowy) and in every offer, also outside LocalBook. The “I don't know” answer is gone (the Sejm passed the law on the register of accommodation); a property that has it can be published again only after choosing “Yes” or “No”.

In the same section, you can enter how to present you on the page, for example "Anna".

What the guest sees

Your full name or business name; for a trader also the address and the tax number.
If you rent as a trader or as a private person.
The registration number, if you entered it.
That the contract is with you and LocalBook is only a tool.
Next to the request form — a short privacy notice with a link to the full text.

When details are missing

Until you complete the host details and answer the registration question:

you cannot publish a new property,
the request form on an already published page is off — the guest sees your contact and a request to contact you directly.
