Download your data or delete your account

Download your data

1. In the menu, click My account.
2. In the Your data section, click Download my data.

You get a JSON file with your account data, sign-in methods, consents and host role applications. If you are a host, the file also contains the contact details of your properties and the deposit transfer details. Guest data is not part of your export. You can download your data 5 times per hour maximum.

Delete your account

1. On the My account page, click Delete account.
2. Confirm that it is you: enter your password or log in again with Google.
3. Click Yes, delete my account forever.

The deletion is immediate and permanent. LocalBook deletes the account, all sessions and your personal data. Backups are overwritten after 30 days maximum.

If you are a host, the deletion also removes the contact phone and e-mail from your properties. Guests can then no longer see your properties.
