Limits
How many requests and actions LocalBook accepts, and why.
The limits protect hosts from fake requests and misuse.
| Item | Limit | What happens when you reach it |

| Requests from one device or network | 3 per hour, 10 per day | The guest sees "Too many requests were sent from here". |
| New requests for one property | 10 per day (until midnight UTC) | LocalBook does not accept more requests. The host gets one "Many requests" e-mail. |
| How far ahead a guest can ask | 18 months | The guest sees a message in the form. |
| Downloads of your data | 5 per hour | Try again later. |
| Failed log-ins | A few attempts in sequence | Log-in is blocked for a short time. Try again after some minutes. |
