Publish or unpublish a property

When guests can see a property and what happens to requests when you unpublish it.

Publish

  1. In the menu, click Properties, then Edit next to the property.
  2. Click Publish.

The message "The property is visible to guests." shows. The property page, the code for your website and the request form now work.

Unpublish

  1. Open the property in the dashboard.
  2. Click Unpublish.

Guests can no longer see the property page or the request form. Confirmed stays do not change.

A property hidden by LocalBook

If you see the message "LocalBook has hidden this property", guests cannot see the property, also when it is published. An administrator hides a property when it does not obey the rules of the service. If this is a mistake, write to us.

When a property is no longer visible to guests because it is hidden or because the host role is removed, LocalBook rejects its new requests automatically. Confirmed stays stay.
